The Nice List Rules

Ho ho ho! Christmas Unlocked is a private, magical Christmas game experience made just for your family. The only way in is through a special QR code and secret PIN handed out personally by your family’s Santa (we call them the Admin).

By typing in your PIN and stepping through the door, you’re agreeing to follow these Nice List Rules. If you don’t agree, Mrs. Claus says you should close the app and have a cup of cocoa instead.

Your QR code and PIN are your personal keys to the workshop. Santa set them up just for you through christmasunlocked.com. Treat them like the magic they are:

• Keep your PIN secret — don’t share it with anyone outside your family group.
• Don’t pass your QR code along to anyone who wasn’t invited to your Christmas adventure.
• Whatever happens under your PIN is your responsibility (Santa is watching, after all).
• Santa can take back a key at any time if the rules aren’t being followed.

Christmas Unlocked is all about family, fun, and the magic of the season. To stay on the Nice List, please don’t:

• Send mean, hurtful, or inappropriate messages in the chat
• Try to peek at another player’s account or mess with anyone else’s game
• Use bots or sneaky computer tricks to cheat at the games
• Try to copy or reverse-engineer any part of the Workshop
• Do anything that would ruin the magic for others

Santa (your Admin) has full authority to check in on activity, adjust Nice Scores, and remove any elf who breaks the spirit of the season.

Your family’s Santa (the Admin) runs the whole show. That means setting up players, crafting personalized clues and riddles, managing Nice Scores, controlling when surprises are revealed, and chatting with players as Santa himself.

Christmas Unlocked provides the workshop, but the magic your Santa creates inside it (custom riddles, messages, player details) is their responsibility. We trust all Santas to keep things jolly and appropriate for their family.

The designs, magic, code, sounds, and games inside Christmas Unlocked belong to us and are protected by the elves’ legal team. You may not copy, share, or rebuild any part of the Workshop without written permission from the North Pole.

The messages and content you create in the game (like chat messages to Santa) remain yours. By sending them, you give us permission to store and display them as part of your family’s Christmas adventure.

We’ve worked hard to make Christmas Unlocked as magical as possible, but even the North Pole has the occasional snowstorm. The app is provided “as is” for family fun — we can’t promise it will be perfect every moment of every day.

We’re not responsible for any indirect problems that might arise from using the app, including technical hiccups, brief outages, or lost game data. If something goes wrong, our maximum responsibility is limited to the amount your Santa paid for the game.

The elves work hard to keep the Workshop open all season long, but we can’t promise the lights will never flicker. There may be brief moments of scheduled maintenance or unexpected downtime. We’ll do everything we can to fix problems fast, especially on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning when it matters most.

While Santa’s home is the North Pole, Christmas Unlocked is officially operated from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States. These Rules are governed by Kentucky law, and any disputes would be settled there.

If your family is joining the fun from outside the United States, welcome! You’re still responsible for following any local rules that apply where you live. Your rights under your home country’s consumer protection laws are always protected.

Even the North Pole updates its rulebook from time to time. If we make changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Christmas Unlocked after an update means you’re on board with the new rules.
